Transparency Register
You should know how much we earn, what we spend our money on and who we meet with.
For more transparency in politics
Volt advocates for more transparency in politics: We want people to know which organisations, lobby groups or initiatives we meet with, to clearly show which contacts and conversations may influence our decisions.
In this transparency register you can find detailed information about our finances, expense allowances, meetings with interest groups and all important documents of our council work in Münster.
Finances & Data
How do we spend our money?
As a faction in Münster's city council, we are entitled to so-called faction grants. According to the NRW municipal code, local representatives can determine to a certain extent the amount and distribution key for faction funding. We use these funds to organise our political work, pay staff and cover running costs.
Fraktionszuwendungen 2026
The calendar year 2026 is not yet complete. The full financial data on the parliamentary group's income and expenditure can only be published here after the end of the financial year and review by the city administration.
Die Finanzzahlen für 2026 können wir nach Prüfung und Vorlage bei der Stadtverwaltung hier veröffentlichen.

Grants from the City of Münster

According to the NRW municipal code, local representatives can determine to a certain extent the amount and distribution key for faction funding. We use these funds to organise our political work, pay staff and cover running costs.
Faction (November - December 2025)
In November 2025, we obtained faction status. The faction grants enable us to organise professional support for our council work.
We can publish the financial figures for 2025 here after review and submission to the city administration.
Council group vs. Faction
From January to October 2025, we were organised as a council group. Council groups receive less funding than factions, which limits organisational capabilities, and have different obligations towards the City of Münster.
Council group (January - October 2025)
In the first half of 2025, we worked as a council group with limited resources and focused on the core tasks of council work.
We can publish the financial figures for 2025 here after review and submission to the city administration.

Exchange with interest groups
To orient ourselves in the city community and understand which interests the various groups in Münster represent, we meet with associations, institutions, initiatives and companies.
We always state when a meeting took place, the organisation and the people from Volt who participated. Because we inevitably influence each other, we transparently publish all meetings here.
Seit Fraktionsbeginn am 01.11.2025 dokumentieren wir alle politischen Treffen und Gespräche. Diese Liste wird in der Regel mindestens einmal pro Quartal aktualisiert.
